Russia to Hold Over 4,000 Elections March 2
Over 4,000 elections of different levels will be held in Russia March 2, when the nation votes for a new president of the country, RIA Novosti reported with reference to Central Election Commission Chief Vladimir Churov.
“Simultaneously with the election of president, members of legislative bodies will be elected in 11 constituents of the RF,” Churov said Friday during the meeting with foreign diplomats.

Besides, 4,335 election campaigns and referenda will be held at the municipal government level. The number is eight fold above the indicator posted in 2004, Churov specified.
