Putin Praised Medvedev for National Projects
First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has managed to ensure the accurate work when executing national projects, RIA Novosti reported February 28 with reference to President Vladimir Putin.
“I’d like to point out and emphasize that Dmitry Anatolievich Medvedev has managed to arrange the accurate system-based work, engage federal ministries and departments, as well as the regional and local authorities in it,” Putin said during the meeting of the Council for National Projects.

“We have managed to move this mountain of long-standing problems from a dead stop. I don’t share the optimism of those saying we have solved these problems. We haven’t solved them yet, we have only moved them from a dead stop. We haven’t shoveled this mountain of tasks before us, but rather manifested both to the people and to ourselves that we are able to tackle the most comprehensive and large-scale objectives in the social field,” Putin said.

The methods of tackling problems that were chosen by Russia’s authorities are bearing fruit, Putin said, pointing out that the vital thing today is to step up these efforts so that the absolute majority and even all people in Russia “feel the positive in their daily life.”

A person is the prior concern of Russia’s state and its strategic resource, Putin said. “We are going to save, increase and develop this resource,” the president promised.
