Today’s Press Conference of Putin Hit the Time Record
In terms of duration, the seventh “big press conference” of the RF President Vladimir Putin has hit the previous record already. The president has been speaking with reporters for more than four hours already, while the past year’s event ended in 3 hours 32 minutes.
The number of accredited reporters was another record – 1,364 journalists vs. past past year’s audience of 1,232.

Putin has answered 71 questions put by 52 reporters, including 24 reporters standing for the federal media, 12 regional reporters and 16 foreign ones.

The men put more questions than women – 28 vs. 24 respectively.

Today’s event is the last “biggest press conference” of Putin in capacity of the country’s second president. Putin has held the office for two terms in a row and the Constitution bans him from running for presidency this year.
