Russia Got Over Political Powerlessness, Putin Said
Russia has eventually gone away from the practice of making decisions by dictation of monopolies, oligarch groups, media magnates, outraging populists, President Vladimir Putin said during the State Council’s meeting dedicated to the country’s advance till 2020.
Previously, the decisions related to lives of millions of Russia’s residents, were taken in the interests of small groups. The country has got over political powerlessness, the president made clear.
Putin also specified some definite economic indicators describing the country’s development in the recent years, drawing attention, for instance, to the growth in real income of the nation.
He is well aware of the price growth and inflation, the president went on, pointing out that real income of the people went up 2.5 fold and the pensions increased as well. “Confidence that the life will be changing for the better in future is back,” Putin said.
