Govt to Strictly Control Olympic Preparation
Russia’s government should strictly control each stage of preparing Sochi 2014 Olympics, Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov told the ministers Thursday.
For Sochi Olympics, the organization stage has been completed and it’s necessary to proceed to the practical implementation of set targets, Zubkov emphasized.

The Olympic Games in Sochi are being prepared via several stages. Some 51 engineering and construction facilities, including rope-ways and descents for skiers, three hotels and a cottage village will emerge in Krasnaya Polyana (Red Meadow) this year.

The second stage (2008 to 2011) provides for building an Olympic Skiing Stadium, seven rope-ways, cultural center and mountain skiing routes of over 15 kilometers.
