Ready Money Above 4 Trillion Rubles
The Central Bank of Russia put into circulation over a trillion rubles of ready money in 2007; banknotes with nominal value above 5,000 rubles accounted for two-thirds of the amount, Interfax reported.
Therefore, the amount of ready money in Russia widened from 3.6 trillion rubles to 4.1 trillion rubles past year. The 2006 growth reached 867 billion rubles.
But when it comes to the structure, only the share of 5,000-ruble banknotes manifested the gradual expansion in 2007. These banknotes have been released since August of 2006 and their aggregate worth stepped up 5.7 fold to 861.8 billion rubles over a year.
