Russia to Export First SuperJet-100s to Armenia
Armenia will be the first foreign state, where Russia will supply new Sukhoi SuperJet-100s, RIA Novosti reported February 6 with reference to RF Transport Minister Igor Levitin.
“The first jets will go to Aeroflot, while the first order from foreign airlines will [be executed] for Armenia,” Levitin told the reporters. In addition to the transport minister’s office, Igor Levitin co-chairs the bilateral intergovernmental committee for economic cooperation.

The matter at stake, Levitin reminded, is the supplies of two jets to Armenian Armavia in 2008. The contract worth over $50 million was made in September of 2007.
