Presidential Candidate from LDPR Richer Than the Candidate of Communists
Russia’s Central Election Commission has released data on the income and property of presidential candidate, leader of Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov and his spouse, Interfax reported.
According to the documents that Zyuganov submitted to the Central Election Commission, he earned 3,445,291.61 rubles in four years preceding the year of elections; the amount includes his salary as the State Duma’s member, pension and the yield on deposits. The income of his spouse, Nadezhda Zyuganova, was 145,376.87 rubles (pension, yield on deposits).
The Zyuganovs have no land, houses, transport vehicles or garages in official ownership. The area of flat that they jointly own doesn’t exceed 167.4 sq meters.
Zyuganov has three bank accounts for amount of 152,500 rubles, and his spouse keeps 247,989 rubles in four accounts.
Earlier, the Central Election Commission reported the size and sources of income of another presidential candidate, Vladimir Zhirinovsky. The LDPR leader posted four-year revenues of 3,640,860 rubles. He has a flat in Moscow, which area is 53.8 sq. meters and keeps 245,233.90 rubles in four accounts.
The four-year income of Zhirinovsky’s wife, Galina Lebedeva, has been preliminary estimated at 14,990,339 rubles.
