Any Resolution on Kosovo to Create Precedent, Putin Says
Any handling of Kosovo problem will be a precedent for the world community and should be based on consent of Belgrade and Pristine, Interfax reported referring to Putin’s interview with mass media of Bulgaria.
Our standing is extremely clear in this respect – any resolution on Kosovo is to be approved by both parties. It is equally clear that any resolution on Kosovo is the precedent for the world practice, Putin said. Putin particularly emphasized that the foundation of united Europe should be based on the time-tested principles of strict observance of the international rules.
Acting accordingly, Putin went on, we can jointly find solutions to the most challenging regional problems, where Kosovo is certainly the most acute for the Balkans.
