Grandfather Frost, Snow Maiden Brought Gifts to Khodorkovsky, Lebedev
Dressed as Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden, supporters of Yukos former CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky and MFO MENATEP former head Platon Lebedev brought presents for them to Chita detention facility Friday, Interfax reported.
To be in time with their presents, Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden joined the queue to prison’s delivery window yesterday afternoon. By hearsay, the parcels to former oligarchs include oranges, tangerines, apples and chocolate.

Meanwhile, a Christmas Tree has been placed in front of detention facility. Upholders of Yukos former chief are singing and dancing in a ring, chanting happy New Year to prisoners.

Sentenced to eight years in 2005, Khodorkovsky and Lebedev have been in Chita detention facility since December 2006 due to the new charges, this time related to laundering 450 billion rubles and $7.5 billion from 1998 through 2004.
