Interpol Looking For 1,197 at Russia’s Request
Nearly 1,200 are on the wanted list of Interpol on Russia’s request, said Timur Lakhonin, chief of Russia’s National Central Bureau of Interpol, Interfax reported.
Some 1,197 persons are currently being looked for via the Interpol channels by initiative of Russia’s enforcement bodies for detention and extradition, Lakhonin told reporters in Interfax headquarters, Moscow, on Wednesday.

“On our requests or with our close cooperation with foreign partners, close cooperation with our Prosecutor General Office, 47 persons have been extradited and deported to Russia this year,” Lakhonin said.
