School of Yushchenko’s Daughters Turned Into Hitler’s Election Headquarters
In the tenth form of Ukraine’s most prestigious Pechersk School International, Kiev, the boys and girls study elements of Nazi propaganda. Daughters of Ukraine’s President Viktor Yushchenko, Sophia and Christina, go exactly to that school. The unusual method was initiated by some Mr Shinkens, teacher of history, geography and economy, Segodnya (Today) newspaper reported.
Mr Shinkens told his pupils to play into Adolf Hitler and build up his election image so that the nation would vote for him. Nowadays, the school resembles election headquarters. Adolf Hitler looks at the children from posters on the walls, the German-language slogans urge to vote for Hitler and inform that the great Germany is being created and that the work gives a bowl of soup. The booklets with swastika are scattered all over the classrooms.
The teachers say they offer the Nazi propaganda to the children to explain that the fascism is an evil in a month.
Ukraine’s Education Ministry has set up a special commission to probe into the teaching methods applied at Pechersk School International, but it needs a few days to come up with the final conclusion. The school leadership has declined to comment to reporters.
The Pechersk School is the most prestigious school in the country with the annual education fee amounting to $12,000. The subjects are being taught in foreign languages and English is the language of communication for the children, whose parents are ambassadors, major businessmen and/or businesswomen and/or top-ranked policymakers.
