Berezovsky Called Guilty of Stealing Aeroflot Money
Savelovsky Court of Moscow has found guilty Boris Berezovsky of misappropriating Aeroflot funds in amount of over 214 million rubles. The verdict has been delivered in absentia of Berezovsky, who is hiding out in Britain.
“The Court has determined that Berezovsky fraudulently misappropriated the funds of Aeroflot, i.e. he committed the crime under Part 3, Clause 159 of the RF Criminal Code,” says the verdict of Savelovsky Court of Moscow.

The General Prosecutor Office also accuses Berezovsky of laundering the money stolen from Aeroflot (Part 3, Clause 174). Both clauses set forth the maximum sentence of ten years in prison.

Some 11 cases were initiated against Berezovsky in Russia.

Once the Kremlin mastermind, Boris Berezovsky is the Britain’s resident now, where he was granted the status of political refugee. Russia continuously demands his extradition, to no avail though.
