Putin Speaks to Supporters
Leader of United Russia’s slate of candidates to the State Duma, President Vladimir Putin has addressed his followers in Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow. Rossia TV Channel predictably covered the event.
“We are together today to support the United Russia,” Putin announced. "Think it over, in the following months, we will have the complete renewal of supreme state power in Russia. So that this renewal could take the right way, be successful and for the benefit of the country… we need nothing but victory.” “I count on you,” the president concluded, while the crowd was chanting: “For Putin! For Putin!”

The Luzhniki forum lured over 5,000, Interfax reported. Amid them, were the envoys from the United Russia party as well from Molodaya Gvardia (Young Guard), Nashi (Our), For Putin movements.
