Putin Views United Russia’s Victory at Elections as Credence Given to Him
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will view United Russia’s victory at December elections to the State Duma as the credence given to him. It will help him determine the plans for future, the president said.
”The question now arises what for I have topped the list of United Russia. But because we have nothing better yet… If the people vote for United Russia, which list I have headed, it means they trust me,” President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday, when meeting road builders in Krasnoyarsk-city of Russia.

This trust, the president went on, means he will have a moral right to hold accountable all those working in the Duma and in the government for the execution of decisions that have been outlined. “In what form it is to take place, I will withhold the direct answer yet, but different options exist,” the president said. “If it happens, the result on what I count, I will have the chance,” Putin pointed out when answering the question about his future plans.
