Russia’s Corporate Web Rates the Worst in Europe Again
Sweden’s H&H Webranking has called the web sites of Russia’s companies the worst in Europe again. Same as a year ago, the key faults are the lack of information and poor English-language versions of the corporate pages. Italy, Germany and Denmark have the best web, according to H&H Webranking.
LUKOIL has the best corporate web in Russia. Its score reached 53, which, however, didn’t suffice to advance to the top 100 in the H&H list; LUKOIL rates no higher than number 105 there.
The official web of Surgutneftegaz (which was the worst in Europe in 2006) hasn’t changed since the previous year. Despite the lack of any upgrading, it rates higher than the corporate web of RBC, the sites of Sberbank, Tatneft and Nizhni Tagil Iron and Steel Works – 25.5, 24, 22.75 and 11 respectively. The maximum score is 100.
But the H&H rating features no more than 159 positions this year, and exactly Sberbank is the last but one in Europe’s rating. It managed to outpace French AGF by 3.75.
Italian Telecom Italia leads with 89. Last year’s number one, TNT sank to the fourth line, while Repsol-YPF and Unicredito rate the second and the third respectively.
