St. Petersburg Open 2007 Offers $1m
The 13th International Tennis Tournament, St. Petersburg Open 2007, begins in St. Petersburg today, October 22, 2007. The prize fund reaches $1 million.
Thirty two players, including Mikhail Youzhny, Nikolay Davydenko, Dmitry Tursunov, Igor Kunitsyn, Andy Murray, Filippo Volandri, will compete for the prize of $1 million at St. Petersburg Open 2007.

Similar to 2006, the courts of St. Petersburg Open are completely in line with the highest professional standards. This year, however, the arrangers have taken special measures to improve service of the courts. “At this tournament, new special equipment will be used for their cleaning,” said St. Petersburg Open Director Mikhail Rydnik as quoted by the news service.

It is the 13th tournament and it has won six awards of ATP in the previous years. One of them, the Player Services, was given past year for creating the best conditions for players.
