Ukraine to Ban Combat Operations of Black Sea Fleet
Ukraine intends to legislatively ban Russia’s Black Sea Fleet from fighting a conflict from its base in Sevastopol, Gazeta.ru reported.
The City Hall of Sevastopol, Crimea’s government and the command of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet intend to agree on the actions to prevent the man-caused catastrophe, said Viktor Semenov, the ambassador-at-large of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry and the head of Ukraine’s section of the Sub-Commission for Russia’s Black Sea’s Fleet.

The desire of Ukraine, Semenov pointed out, is to seal an agreement between the emergency ministries of the countries. Ukraine will press for a condition that will ban any combat operations of Russia from Sevastopol.

The RF Black Sea Fleet is based in Sevastopol-city of Crimea, which once belonged to Russia but is the soil of Ukraine now.
