Russia, Belarus Agreed on 2008 Gas Supplies
Belarus and Russia have agreed on the 2008 deliveries of gas in the amount of over 21.6 billion cu meters, Interfax reported with reference to Belarus’ Energy Minister Alexander Ozerets.
The first quarter supplies will reach 6.5 billion cu meters of gas, 4.55 billion will be delivered in the second quarter, Belarus will receive 4.39 billion in the third quarter and 6.18 billion in the fourth quarter, Ozerets said in Minsk Tuesday during the sitting of cabinet.

Gazprom will ship to Belarus 6.35 billion cu meters in the fourth quarter of 2007, the minister specified.

According to Ozerets, gas reserves in storage facilities of Belarus will reach 660 million cu meters by October 20. As of October 4, the official went on, the gas reserves in Osipovich storage facilities exceeded 250 million cu meters and Priburg had 324 million cu meters.
