Other People to Come to Power After Elections
New leadership of Russia will maintain continuity in relations and cooperation with Europe, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin pledged during the Petersburg Dialog Forum that is held in Wiesbaden. But quite other people will be in power after the elections, the president emphasized.
”I’m certain the renewed leadership, and Russia will have another power configuration, other people will come [to power], will maintain continuity in cooperation with Germany and Europe,” the president pointed out.
Today’s relations with the European states, Putin went on, “match the aspiration of Russia’s residents” and correspond to the national interests. “No changes will happen and could happen,” the president vowed.
As to the economic relations of Russia and Germany, there is nothing to boast, Putin said, reminding that the German business has recently injected roughly ˆ7 billion in Russia’s economy. “Just a single company of Italy invested $6 billion in power engineering and intends to invest another $3 billion,” Putin specified.
