Russia’s Export Revenues Up 5.24 Percent
Russia grew the crude exports by 4.75 percent on year to 159,863,200 tons in January to August, Federal Customs Service reported. In terms of money, the exports stepped up 5.24 percent to $69,678.2 million.
Of this amount, Russia exported 148,009,200 tons to the far-abroad countries (4 percent up on year vs. January to August of 2006) for the total worth of $65,361.7 million (up 4.86 percent). The exports to CIS stood at 11,854,000 tons (up 14.71 percent) worth $4,316.5 million (up 11.34 percent).
The crude production (along with gas condensate) increased 2.6 percent on year to 326.62 million tons in January to August.
2006 production of crude (including gas concentrate) grew 2.1 percent on year) to 480 million tons. Industry and Energy Ministry forecasts this year’s output at 490 million tons, 2.08 percent up on year.
The exports of Russia’s gas shed 11.9 percent on year to 108.2 billion cu meters in January to August; the revenues amounted to $25,554.7 million, 10.9 percent less than in January to August of 2006.
The exports to far-abroad states lost 11.6 percent to 95.9 billion cu meters. The CIS exports went down by 14 percent to 12.3 billion cu meters.
Gas production lowered 0.9 percent on year to 429 billion cu meters, including 362.17 billion cu meters (down 0.4 percent) produced by Gazprom. This year’s production is forecasted to go up by 1.33 percent on year to 665 billion cu meters.
