Son of Iranian Diplomat Killed in Moscow
A citizen of Iran with multiple knife wounds was found past night in Moscow. The young man, who was the son of Iranian diplomat, died en route to the hospital, representatives of Iranian embassy reported.
Ahmadreza Khorrami, 21, was killed in Moscow Sunday, September 16, roughly at 7:00 p.m. MSK. The young man was attacked in Dmitry Ulyanov St., close to the diplomatic premises that are under protection of the RF Foreign Ministry’s Main Department for Serving Diplomatic Corps.
The Iranian was wounded in heart and hand’s artery and died of the blood loss after the ambulance arrived to the place of the accident to attempt to save him. He had been the student of preparatory courses to Moscow Energy Institute. The investigators are probing into several leads, including the murder for reasons of national hatred.
Iranian embassy in Moscow handed in a note to Russia’s Foreign Ministry, urging the latter to conduct thorough investigation and take decisive steps to catch and detain the guilty and to improve protection of Iranian diplomats in places of residence.
