Russia, the U.S. Agreed to Continue the Search
Russia and the United States will continue looking for the methods to sort out problems triggered by the U.S. intention to locate parts of its anti-missile shield in Europe, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin announced Friday after meeting U.S. President George Bush.
Putin said they spoke about all problems of bilateral agenda and the most vital international issues, first of all, about the missile defense problem.
According to Putin, the presidents agreed that the experts should meet once again and make a trip to Azerbaijan, which hosts the Qabala radar station.
Therefore, Putin went on, “we ascertain that the joint work in this direction is going on.”
