Russia, Ukraine Lead in Number of Virus Web-Pages
Russia and Ukraine are amid the world leaders in number of web-pages with detected virus, showed the survey of Sophos, which is the world No. 1 in IT security and control. Sophos analysts compiled the list of the states most affected by virus after studying 8 billion pages, Internetnews reported.
China’s segment of Internet is the absolute leader with 44.8 percent of all pages, where the virus was detected. The United States accounts for 20.8 percent of the virus websites and Russia is the last of the leaders with 11.3 percent.

Russia is followed by Ukraine, which has 7.7 percent, Interfax reported.

China has showed the healthy improvement vs. the July survey of Sophos – it used to account for 53.9 percent of all web-pages hit by the virus.
