Putin Lashed out at Gref, Kasyanov
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin lashed out at Economic Development Minister German Gref and ex-Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov. The reason of the critical rhetoric of president was the visit to Vilyuchinsk-town, the Kamchatka territory.
President Vladimir Putin visited Vilyuchinsk in 2004 and shaped a few tasks for then Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov and Economic Development Minister German Gref by results of that tour. But the officials have failed to execute the orders, the president made clear.

“Everything started with Mikhail Kasyanov. Kasyanov-Gref,” Putin said, emphasizing that the definite persons should be liable for the failure to execute his orders in the region. Putin’s evaluation of the government’s work in part of laying a gas-main pipeline to Petropavlovsk was equally negative, Mayak broadcaster reported.

“We spoke of it three years ago, but nothing has been done. The government is unable to set priorities, sort out this issue. If given to Gazprom, everything would have been constructed long ago,” Putin said.

Vladimir Putin visited Kamchatka en route to the summit of APEC held in Sidney.
