Son of LUKOIL President Tops the List of Richest Heirs
Yusuf Alekperov, the son of LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov, tops the list of wealthiest heirs in Russia’s business, Finance journal reported, estimating his legacy at $12 billion.
Marina and Pyotr, the children of Russia’s richest Oleg Deripaska, are scored the second and the third in the heir rating with the overall legacy of $21.2 billion. They are followed by daughters of Alfa Group major holder Mikhail Fridman - Ekaterina and Lora will get $13.8 billion at halves.
Chukotka Governor and Britain’s Chelsea owner has five heirs, each of whom getting $4.2 billion ($21 billion overall), which is only the 23rd through 27th scores in the rating.
In Russia, 36 billionaires have 70 billionaire heirs, whose aggregate capital stands at $240 billion.
When making out the heir rating, Finance took into account only the children of moneybags that may count on at least $1 billion.
Kristina Krasnyanskaya, 36, daughter of Eurocement Group owner Georgy Krasnyansky, is the oldest of all heirs, while the twin daughters of Russian Standard Bank owner Roustam Tariko are the youngest of them – they are three years of age now.
As of early this year, Russia had 61 persons with the wealth of over $1 billion, signaled the rating of 500 richest residents of the country released by Finance in February.
