OSCE Envoy in Moldova Summoned to Moscow for Interrogation
Russia’s Interior Ministry sent to Moldova the request to summon U.S. resident Luis O'Neil for interrogation, Interfax reported. O’Neil, who heads the OSCE mission in Moldova, is suspected of smuggling and Moscow will add him to the international wanted list if he fails to face the investigators.
Luis O’Neil was detained in late March in Moscow Domodedovo Airport during the customs check. According to Interior Ministry, he had the Soviet posters of 1920s by Viktor Deni and Dmitry Moor. O’Neil could provide no documents sanctioning the export of posters of obvious cultural value, the law enforcement officers claimed.

The posters were seized, while their owner fled from Russia referring to diplomatic immunity. But a criminal case was duly opened on smuggling count here, which sets forth imprisonment of up to seven years.
