Malaysian Air Force to Get 6 Su-30MKM Fighters by Year-End
Irkut Research & Production Corp. will supply to Malaysia another six Su-30MKM fighters, Interfax reported.
Irkut Research & Production Corp. will supply to Malaysia by this year-end another consignment of six Su-30MKM fighters, Irkut President Oleg Demchenko told Interfax.

“Under Malaysian contract, six Su-30MKMs have been shipped to the client. We will supply another six jets by this year-end,” Demchenko said, promising that the Air Force of Malaysia will get remaining six jets next year.

“Sukhoi Co. and Russia’s state exporter of weapons, Rosoboronexport, intend to set up a service center in Malaysia to provide maintenance for delivered fighters,” Demchenko added.
