All Cars of Exploded Neva Express Lifted Upright
All cars of Neva Express have been lifted upright. Neva Express train went off the rails late Monday once a bomb exploded behind the railway bed, Interfax reported with reference to the news service of Russian Railways (RZD).
The movement from Petersburg to Moscow (odd railway) will recommence by 3:00 p.m. MSK. The explosion and crash of the train particularly destroyed the even-number railway with the greatest damage caused to the area of 250 meters, sources with RZD said.

Neva Express left the metals yesterday due to explosion of self-made bomb put under the railway bed. The prosecutors have initiated a criminal case on terrorism count.

All cars of the train but for one went off the rails as a result of the crash; three cars turned over.

Of 25 hit by the crash, five have heavy injuries, said Alexander Kolupaev, who is the chief of the RF Emergency Ministry’s Main Department for Novgorod Region.
