MAKS 2007 to Be Businesslike, of Greater Respect
Forthcoming MAKS 2007 International Airspace Show will be more businesslike and of greater respect, the arrangers promised.
”We have attempted to change the mere ideology of our show, its inner atmosphere. This time, we hope, it will be really businesslike, of greater respect and, at the same time, it won’t lose attractiveness for ordinary visitors,” MAKS 2007 General Director Dmitry Shulepov told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

This year’s MAKS, Shulepov went on, will have a single business center, common pavilions will be enlarged by 30 percent and the chalet number will go up 1.5 fold. “The number of participants has increased from 640 at MAKS 2005 to 780 at MAKS 2007,” Shulepov said.

The presence of foreign participants will be of greater extent. “China returns to MAKS, and we are very pleased about it. Europe’s exposition has widened materially. Along with traditionally present EADS, French SAFRAN that is actively involved in creation of Russia’s regional Superjet 100 will be represented at large,” Shulepov said.
