July Inflation at 0.8 Percent
The inflation in Russia didn’t climb above 0.04 percent in the last week of July, a source with Economic Development Ministry said, specifying that the growth could be 0.8 percent taken for July overall.
The inflation in Russia didn’t hit 0.04 percent in the last week of July, RIA Novosti reported with reference to a source with Russia’s Economic Development and Trade Ministry. The inflation won’t exceed 0.8 percent taken for July overall, the source gave the preliminary estimate.

“The growth in consumer prices was practically zero in the last week, some 0.04 percent,” the source said. “We expect the inflation to remain at 0.8 percent, in line with our forecast.”

The inflation was 0.8 percent taken for the first 23 days of past month, according to Arkady Dvorkovich, chief of the RF president’s expert department. The outlook that Economic Development Ministry released July 30 forecasted the July inflation of between 0.8 percent and 1.0 percent.
