President Putin to Open 2014 Olympics, Fed Council Speaker Forecasts
Sochi 2014 Olympic Games will be opened by today’s President Putin, who will be Russia's president again in 2014, Fed Council Speaker Sergey Mironov forecasted to reporters in Siberian city Novosibirsk.
”Winning the right for hosting Olympics is the personal victory of Russia’s president,” Mironov said some time earlier.

According to the speaker, Russia’s political structure will go through crucial changes from 2007 to 2011. “The current laws will be drastically revised,” Mironov said. “We have settled foreign debts, it’s high time to pay domestic debts to the Russians. It’s the vital necessity."

”Let’s elect a new president for four years in 2008 and then, re-elect V. Putin should it be his desire,” Mironov was emphatic. “It looks like United Russia is seeing the president to the pension, while our party says: our president in 2012 is Vladimir Putin,” Mironov pointed out.
