Geyser Valley Opened for Tourists
Russia’s environmental authority Rosprirodnadzor sanctioned re-launch of excursion and tourist route in the Geyser Valley starting from July 20 provided the measures of additional safety are duly observed, Interfax reported with reference to the RF Natural Resources Ministry.
“On Thursday, the authorized commission inspected and evaluated infrastructure of excursion route after repairing and rebuilding. The commission concluded that condition of visit center, two helicopter sites and excursion paths was satisfactory,” the ministry announced.

On June 3, a huge landslide destroyed a large part of the Geyser Valley in Russia’s Kamchatka and the mud dumped the Geyser River. Geysers are hot springs erupting from time to time and valley of 90 geysers used to be the major attraction of the valley that has over 200 springs overall.
