Britain is the System Enemy of Russia, Zhirinovsky Says
Expelling four diplomats from Great Britain and refusing to issue visas to officials are continuation of hostile policy against Russia, said Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of Russia’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR).
”Great Britain is the most hostile state when it comes to Russia. Russia has never had and will never have the task-oriented enemy of this extent,” RIA Novosti quoted Zhirinovsky as saying.

The Crimean war, assassination of Russia’s tsar by terrorists, Russian-Japanese war and the cold war, the trail of Britain could be spotted in all those events that were so tragic for Russia, Zhirinovsky said, emphasizing that Britain has been long hostile to Russia.

“Berezovsky, Zakaev are there now,” Zhirinovsky stressed, mentioning the economic forums that are held in London, “where the attempts are made to negatively affect Russia.”

Lugovoy’s case is just a catch, according to Zhirinovsky. Britain “needs another scenario, another stage for inspiring hostility.”

The provocation will continue. “We should be more active. Such attacks should be prevented,” Zhirinovsky pointed out.
