School Director Called Pirate Again
The Perm District Court has overruled today the appeal of Sepych school director Alexander Ponosov against the court award that acknowledged him guilty in using pirate software of Microsoft at school computers, Interfax reported.
But Alexander Ponosov is apparently in no mood to give in and pay the fine of 5,000 rubles imposed on him. He is willing to go to law with the supervisory appeal.
The first attempt to condemn Ponosov for pirate software was made in winter, but the case was closed due to the trifle nature. Both parties appealed the verdict and the second award of May 7, 2007 wasn’t in Ponosov’s favor prompting the school director to appeal again, to no avail though.
Secondary school director Alexander Ponosov was charged with using counterfeit software in all computers of his school, causing damage of 250,000 rubles.
