Moscow to Hit Temperature Records
Moscow is likely to hit temperature records today. The initial weather forecast of 29°C was adjusted to 30°C later on.
Today, the maximum temperature was recorded far back in 1897, when the stem of thermometer climbed to 29.1°C. This May, the average temperature is still 0.2°C below the standard, all current heat notwithstanding.
According to Russia’s Hydro & Meteorological Center, the sun will be shining in Moscow today. But the residents may enjoy northern wind, even though it won’t be strong in force. The night will be a bit chilly with the weather dropping to 15°C.
The heat will survive tomorrow (the day temperature is forecasted at 30°C, while the night forecast is 16°C). The wind will blow from south, bringing some clouds but no rain.
