Ukraine’s Supreme Administrative Court Bans Early Elections to Rada
Ukraine’s Supreme Administrative Court has banned holding early parliamentary elections on May 27, Ukraine’s Justice Minister Alexander Lavrinovich said, Interfax reported.
“No chance of holding elections on May 27,” the minister explained, referring to the award that he received early morning and specifying that the award of Supreme Administrative Court couldn’t be appealed.

Ukraine’s President Viktor Yushchenko dissolved parliament by his decree of April 2 and slated new elections for May 27. But first legislators and then the government refused to abide and challenged the president’s decree in the Constitutional Court.

The Constitutional Court has reached the stage of hearing final arguments of the parties.
