Once Not Enough to Assess Berezovsky Calls for Revolution
British authorities have launched the second additional inquiry into Boris Berezovsky’s claim about plotting to overthrow Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, The Guardian reported.
Home Office’s border and immigration agency opened its own investigation into Berezovsky’s remarks to determine if they could undermine his status of political refuge. Scotland Yard detectives hold parallel action aimed at assessing whether the billionaire beached anti-terrorism laws.

In the April 13 interview to The Guardian, today’s resident of London, Boris Berezovsky, said he “is plotting a new Russian revolution” and “there are also practical steps which I am doing now, and mostly it is financial.”

The comments of billionaire led to a new criminal case opened in Moscow on count of actions targeted at forcible seizure of power and the breach of the RF Constitution. Moreover, the RF Prosecutor General Office sent an official warrant to London seeking stripping Berezovsky of the asylum status and his extradition to Russia.
