Russian Troops Have All Weapons They Need
Russian troops are supplied with 100 percent of key armaments they need, such as tanks, artillery, communications, chemical defense equipment, sapper troops weapons and vehicles, the Defense Ministry said Thursday.
At the same time, Russian troops have 90 percent of all arms they require, General Alexey Maslov, commander-in-chief of the Russian Ground Forces, told reporters.

The share of the latest armaments in the army has recently grown up from 20 to 60 percent, General Maslov said. The command is paying particular attention to the modernization of current weapons and producing new armaments.

Russia enlarged its state order by 30 percent this year, to 734.6 billion rubles. 400 billion is to be spent on armaments production, purchases and upkeep.

Russia is also increasing funds for capital development and infrastructure project by 30 percent this year.
