Moscow Scored 26th in Dearness
The cost of living is the highest in Oslo, Paris, Copenhagen and London, says the survey released in London today, Interfax reported.
Of ten leaders in life dearness, only Tokyo and Osaka are located outside Europe; their scores are the fifth and the sixth respectively.
Russia’s capital, Moscow, holds the 26th position, two scores ahead of New York, which has been acknowledged the most expensive city outside Europe and Asia. Athens, Prague, Lisbon and Warsaw are Europe’s cities with the lowest prices.
Analysts of Britain’s Economist Intelligence Unit matched consumer prices of more than 130 cities to assess the cost of living in this or that place. The exchange rate of local currency was always of significant value, the analysts said.
