Russia Earned $139.4bn on Crude, Gas Exports Past Year
Russia derived more than $139.4 billion from crude and gas exports in 2006, the Federal Customs Service announced.
Crude export revenues soared 22.04 percent on year to $96,675.2 million in 2006; the export volume lowered 2.41 percent to 227,538,700 tons of crude.
Of this amount, Russia supplied 211,171,100 tons to the far-abroad countries (worth $90,755.5 million), while CIS got just 16,367,600 tons ($5,919.7 million).
Gas export revenues stepped up 40.7 percent to $42,816.1 million; the export volume dropped 2.78 percent to 182 billion cu meters, including 161.88 billion cu meters (159.8 billion cu meters in 2005) shipped to the far-abroad countries and 20.2 billion cu meters (vs. 27.4 billion cu meters) supplied to CIS.
