Combat Ship Takes Fire at the Baltic Fleet Base
A combat ship took fire at the Baltic Fleet’s base in Baltiisky town on Wednesday morning, Interfax reported referring to Kaliningrad Region’s Department of Emergency Ministry.
The fire on MPK-105 vessel led to compressed air explosion. Ten teams of fire fighters and a motor rescue boat of the Baltic Fleet were smothering the fire of the higher rate of complexity.
The fire led to no casualties, representatives of Emergency Ministry specified. The reasons of the incident are being determined.
