Iran to Arrange Tours to Uranium Conversion Facility for Diplomats
Western diplomats living in Tehran will be able to visit nuclear facilities in Iran, said Gholamreza Aghazadeh, head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, AP reported. According to Aghazadeh, there is no ban on such visits and Iran has always endeavored to prove the civil nature of its nuclear program.
The envoys of the Non-Aligned Movement visited the Isfahan facility in Iran February 3. All six diplomats are also the IAEA officials.

Apart from the Non-Aligned envoys, roughly 90 journalists from Iran and foreign states toured to Isfahan facility that produces uranium hexafluoride (UF-6) used for uranium enrichment.

On December 23, the U.N. Security Council passed a resolution imposing sanctions on Iran for its refusal to suspend the nuclear program. The resolution gave 60 days to Iran, which will soon expire.

For Iran’s nuclear effort, February 11 that is the Day of the Islamic Revolution and the national holiday there will be at least crucial. On this day, Iran will prove its right to nuclear technology, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed without giving the specifics.
